this has been bugging me (saw v) spoilers!!!

First off, I was very dissapointed in this movie. IMO it is the worst in the series. Anyways my question is why the heck do they have a poster of someone with jigsaw's face starpped on to theirs?? When I saw this poster I thought it was sweet and couldn't wait to see it happen in the movie. Well it had absolutley nothing to do with the movie, unless it's like symbolic or something because other people are carrying out jigsaw's role. But anyways did this piss anyone else off?? Also I felt that jigsaw was barely in this one.

I know six is in production but seriously how far can they stretch it since jigsaw has been dead since number 3. He is the whole franchise and they killed him off. That was where they went wrong. All for a suprise ending that frankly is getting tiresome having to have a twist at the end of every movie.

well first no it did not disappoint me at all as part 5 was better than parts 3 and 4.it was basically showing that jigsaw was still alive in hoffman who was the one who was with jigsaw all along and the one who is still carrying out his work.i really liked part five and cannot wait till part 6

IMO, I don't care if Jigsaw is in it or not, I enjoyed the torture scenes as I found they were very funny. I enjoyed the part where that man and woman had to stick their arms in the running saw.

it was meant symbolicaly since the guy takes over for Jigsaw and sees the world through his eyes

Wow i just finished watching this movie, and i came on the site and saw this thread. i have to say what a horrible movie. glad i didnt have to pay to watch the movie, borrowed it from a friend hehe.

I'm just waiting for Jigsaw's wife to kill off Hoffman and continue the series. (my prediction)

I can see the original poster's point on being led to believe it was Amanda, then to see it was not just her in Saw V.
It it did make sense in a way, because it would take more than one person to design and build all the elaborate traps.

Jigsaw made sense. Amanda made sense. Hoffman came as a disappointing surprise because there really does not seem to be any original motivation behind his actions. He is just a puppet, and I can't believe a puppet can run the show.

Hence my belief that this series will eventually be in the hands of Jigsaw's wife. Then the series will be back on track.

[Show spoiler]No, because everything Jigsaw did with Amanda was revealed to have been ANOTHER game in the 4th one I think. Hoffman and Amanda were helping him all along, but Jigsaw working with Amanda was just a part of an extended game with her, a game that she ended up losing.

Saw 1 was good, Saw 2 was not good but very entertaining (my fav), Saw 3 was great, and then the last two pathetic attempts are eventually showing just how ridiculous this franchise really is.
