I have been throwin arounf the idea of upgrading my surrounds. I like the Bose Acoustimass cube speakers because they are small yet very clear n powerful. I have seen dual cube speakers for sale all over ebay. My question is this:
Can they be used with normal speaker wire straight from a reciever? I have heard and read different things. Either it is yes, I can they are just like any other speaker, or no because they are proprietary to the Bose acoustimass sub and have a "speacial connector" I love my Onkyo reciever, front speakers, center and sub, so I really don't wanna have to upgrade all that also. I am just lookin for an econimical way to upgrade my surround speakers (which are 6 inch sony bookshelf speakers) For a smaller design and potentially better sound Any clarification would be great!! |
