Default Help!!! how do i set up my Onkyo 805?????

Ok so my question here is when im watching a movie my receiver displays Multich. When i put direct it sounds more flat and less bass. So can anyone help me with the setting on this beast lol

I agree with Slec that more information would be helpful, however if you are using "Direct" you are very likely getting less bass. Remember that the Direct Mode (& Pure Mode) bypasses all digital audio processing including bass management, which will kill, or at least reduce, bass in many system configurations.

I would use the multichannel if you are watching a blu on your ps3.

I have a PS3 too and the best setting to see movies is using Multichannel.

I'm guessing that your player is a PS3 in which case, you will never see your reciever light up "DTS-MA". You have to make the PS3 decode and then set your reciever to "multichannel"
