We all know that the playstation 3, when on, consumes quite a bit of electricity. I have read online that we should use the power save option whenever possible, but I don't see the big deal behind it. We consume electricity through light bulbs, computers, DVR boxes, Tivo boxes, and TVs. Apparently it's ok to have all of these devices on, but not ok to have a playstation 3 running for a few hours. The amount of electricity consumed by a ps3 would be enough to power a small town, if that makes any sense. Any thoughts on this?
