Default BB matches Amazon??? What's that you say???

So, I was talking to a bb employee tonight and he said that BB price matches target online. Cool. Well target matches Amazon.com prices on their web site. Soooo...print out a target online price, take it to best buy, and best buy matches amazon. How cool is that? I just checked Iron Man to see if it works. Iron Man on amazon.com = $16.99, target online= $16.99. Best buy will match the target price...

Have fun with this one boys!!!

ps. if anyone wants to thank me, I'll take any and all unwanted blus!

I have been having Best Buy do that for a while now. But yea I thought that was common knowledge. Good looking out for anyone who might not know though.

Target online isn't price-matching it actually is amazon.com the people at Best Buy are just to stupid to look past the big target logo at the top of the page to see the amazon.com logo.

Since Im a Reward Zone user at BB, this does come in handy. Now my first choice is Amazon or eBay though.

Well I bought my first home earlier this year, and most of my appliances came from Best Buy - therefore resulting in a ton of Certificates due to using my Reward Zone card. Then I used them online, and had BB match the Amazon price - made out pretty well

Pretty cool, but you still have to pay tax at best buy, and tax out weighs reward zone, So since I have prime I will still use amazon

So you print the price of the movie you want, go to best buy and grab the movie and take both to the help/returns desk?

I love how people go through life so ignorant about things...

Amazon charges tax too.

There's a little state called NEW YORK. Amazon charges 8.375% tax.

Not all Best Buys will match these online prices, unless it is their own website. i have had this go around at my stores for years. It is also very YMMV.

And how much do you pay each year for prime? Best Buy is the better deal despite the sales tax by the time you get your RZ cert IMO. We have tax here in Alabama also, 9% in my area.

What is YMMV? I didnt know they would price match this. I must give this a try. The immediate gratification will be worth paying a couple extra bucks.

depending on the store and manager they will match amazon directly, plus what they will charge you for shipping usually. If shipping isnt included.

That sucks for New Yorkers.

The rest of the country enjoys tax-free goods from Amazon (for now).

There are also 49 other states . . .

I usually price match Wal Mart's online price at Best Buy. Walmart.com is usually the same as, and a lot of the time cheaper than Amazon.
