Pumpkinhead needs to go blu. Esp with the news of the passing of Stan Winston. This movie rocks and needs to be rediscovered.

I like this flick too. Formula flick but with nice effects courtesy of Stan Winston. I will miss his work. So many of the movies I own have his name in the credits. Thanks for a lifetime of great work Stan.

Just bought an 18 inch Pumpkinhead Figure for my coffee table... need the blu ray now lol

Such an under-rated film, I just saw it on the big screen in Boston during a Halloween movie marathon. The 35mm print looked great, it should transfer well to blu-ray. But for some reason, the opening titles said "Vengeance: The Demon" - one of the guys sitting near me said the theater rented a European print and that was the title used over there.

Wow that's right! I think I saw that title on imdb as an alternate or something. Very cool.

Out of all the movies ever made.... i want this one on blu the most

It took about 3 years for it to show up on DVD, but I doubt we'll get it that quickly on blu-ray (that would make it a 2009 release).

I loved Stan Winston's creature design on this one and the story, while nothing out of the ordinary, is handled well. I also found it to be one of Lance Henriksen's best performances.

I would upgrade all four of them, as they were all decent. I'm especially hoping for a BD of the first, since my DVD is in full screen.

I would hope they would do 1 and 2 together. Then we just gotta have SyFy do 3 and 4 together and we are golden, lol. I guess for now ill settle for the dvd and try to upgrade the pic a bit with the bluray player, lol

Definitely want this on blu! Would love to see a boxed set containing all of them together (even though the sequels were way inferior to the original, the completist in me wants them all).
