Subwoofers sub-forum question - Blu-ray Forum

Out of curiosity, what is the reasoning behind having separate "speakers" and "subwoofers" forums? I think the new expanded layout started a few months ago works really well, but couldn't subwoofer discussion fit into speakers and tighten up that section a bit?

probably because they are two separate entities of Home Theater, It appears both are fairly active with useful discussion. They broke it up for easy navigation by members looking for a particular component.
Alot of discussions could technically be interchangeable but the idea was to get more Home theater enthusiasts to get more out of the site. You'll see with time as blu-ray.com grows, more sections be divided to handle the increased traffic. Its all for the benefit of the end user
