United Kingdom Where does one in the US get affordable UK blu rays?

I would like to get these

MOC Nosferatu
MOC Metropolis
BFI Birth of a Nation

So what's the best place to get them at best prices? Amazon.co.uk? Or is there a another place (preferably a US source)?

a few uk retailers send to the usa, many use amazon because they take off VAT (20%) for non-UK residents.

Amazon, Zavvi, or direct from the label themselves (if applicable). Whoever is cheaper.

Base also removes VAT. Their shipping is also per item, so it's a good site if you only want one thing.

How is Base's packaging? I recall some negative things said about their shipping so I haven't tried to use them yet.

Steelbooks from Base come in the same white box with foam, just like Zavvi.

The two box sets I ordered from them this year (War Trilogy & Shoah) showed up in brown cardboard packaging similar to Eureka's. Both sets had no damage whatsoever and I was very pleased with them.

The only problem I've encountered with base is having something go on 'back order'. I've had an open order of some Second run DVDs for almost 2 weeks that just sits there in 'back order'. The rest of the orders I've made have been 5 star experiences.

Remember the last two weeks are Christmas and New Year so unreasonable to compare to a normal working period, as most businesses have shut for some or all of this time.

Understandably, and it's not a huge issue to me as their price was great, but I've had it happen before as well and the order just sits there without ever updating you via email.

I’ve used Zavvi for exclusive items but I’m really not a fan of the customer service/shipping they offer.

For anything else I have used Amazon.co.uk and have been extremely happy with all transactions. Probably around 10 in the past two years.
