From what I read she missed her flight to San Francisco and they put her on a plane to Los Angeles for free....

Seems like it's not the same destination... LA and SF are like kind of far from one another....Why they didn't put her on the next flight to SF is the part I don't get.... Maybe that was full and they have space on planes from LA to SF.

Either way... that girl is stressed out.

I actually felt sorry for her...I would be soo pissed if the plane was still sitting on the tarmac and they wouldn't let me on...

i was in LAX and some woman prolly in her early 20s who kind of came off as a slut :/ threw the biggest fit because they wouldn't let her on the plane while it was sitting on the tarmac. at one point she slapped the flight desk guy in the face because he made fun of how she looked. she kept throwing money at him and insisting they let her on the plane if she "bought up every single seat." it was wild, yo.

I'm guessing the guy with the white hair was her husband, since she started blaming him for everything. He looked like he was going to try it a couple of times.

First posted on YouTube on Feb. 12, it had drawn 4.97 million views and nearly 18,000 comments as of Thursday. Some postings have added mock subtitles.

It wasn't clear why the woman was so upset about missing the flight, and she could not be identified or contacted. Cathay spokeswoman Carolyn Leung declined comment.

Cathay said it had apologized to the woman "for the inconvenience and embarrassment she may have suffered as a result" and offered to upgrade her seats on her next trip and reimburse her for frequent flyer miles she used for upgrades on recent journeys.

The airline said the woman has not sought compensation from the company.

The South China Morning Post newspaper reported Thursday the woman met with Cathay's customer relations officials last week and was calm during the four-hour meeting as she explained the embarrassment the video has caused her.

There is absolutely nothing that justifies going berserk like she did. Only reason I can think of is to somehow know the winning lottery numbers of some lottery whose drawing takes place very soon in some other country and that plane was the last one to let you get there on time to play it and there she missed it.

Or could it be that she is autistic ? Autistic people can get upset when facing an obstacle of any kind.
