Hey fellas.
I had a heart-stopping moment last night when I was putting my equipment back in the HT. I was rerouting some wires in the rear of the receiver (Onkyo 806), while it was on. I pulled off the sub cable to reroute it and it slipped from my hands and crossed against the banana plugs for the speakers. It made a weird sound an the receiver turned off. I tried turning it back on to no avail, but finally got it to work after unplugging the receiver, then plugging it back in. Lesson learned to all of us is to make sure stuff is turned off when performing even the smallest tasks. Is my receiver okay or did I really screw something up. I watched a movie after and didn't encounter any issues. Thank you, Mike |
