CoD4 Double XP

Double XP on COD4 all weekend long.... Started last night and i think it ends Sunday sometime...

Glad to see people are still playing COD4. It's so much better than COD5. Although, I won't say COD 5 sucks, because it doesn't. It's just not COD 4.

How exactly does the game keep track of the extra XP, because I noticed all the points showing up are doubled (+2 for an assist, +10 for holding the headquarters), but it doesn't seem to show up in the score. Maybe kills and assists are showing up, but if I hit select to see the score, there's no reason my score should be under 500 if I'm getting double XP for the headquarters, so why is it? Is the scoreboard only showing the regular scoring method, and then game is secretly doubling that when the game is over?

Yea, the double score keeps track where it counts, but on the select-scorecard it stays the same as if it were regular points. This also assures games like team deathmatch and free-for-all dont end twice as fast.

I have been playing pretty much non stop. The hardcore Headquarters is a lot of fun!
