Thumbs up Highly Recommended: Clip-On RealD 3D Glasses for Use in Movie Theaters

I bought a pair from this site, the circular polarized ones, and they worked perfectly for Shrek Forever After:

http://www.berezin.com/3D/3dglasses.htm#Circular

But, it looks like they're less expensive on this site:

http://www.apioptics.com/3d-glasses-spec.html#circular

They didn't actually clip onto my frames, rather, they clipped onto the lenses of my regular eyeglasses. You might find that alarming, but it's NOT bare metal touching your lenses, since the clips are capped with rubber. And furthermore, even though the clips are on your lenses, they shouldn't enter your field of view, which, if they did, would've been a constant distraction.

I believe that you're only supposed to buy circular polarized clip-ons if you're going to use them for RealD 3D movies, so don't try to buy the less expensive linear polarized versions.

Good luck explaining to a movie theater you're going to use those instead of their glasses....and arguing the price of the ticket down because of that.

I'm guessing this is more suited for at home use.

I love this! it will be a much better method of viewing 3D for people who wear glasses due to sight issues (like myself) And have an incurable penchant for 3D movies (again, like myself)
