Default Worth the time and effort?

Considering there's a lot of car enthusiasts here, I figure I would put a poll here.

Here's my situation, I recently discovered that my family still has a 1968 convertible VW Bug that has been passed around various aunts and uncles. The car is just sitting in a garage doing nothing. It's been that way for a good 10 years or so. Paint and body are in great shape. No one want's to drive it because they all hate the stiff clutch in it.

My dad said that if I were to ask my aunt would probably sell it to me.

SO do you think it would be worth the time and effort? She would probably sell it cheap too.

Uncertain as to how much the repairs would be but it would sure be a fun project.
