Hey guys, some of you may or may not know (i just found out this week) Rogers Video recently changed their points redemption.
It used to be 30 reward points for a PV Blu Ray, they changed this to 20 points recently? i'm not sure when they changed it. I always go to Rogers Video because i think their rewards program is the best. and i also think they're cheaper? $4.99 for a blu ray Anyone know how much a blu ray at BBV is? ~$8 - $2 if you bring it back early? anyways, thought some rogers users may be interested in this. BUT, i'd probably save your points since BBV has these NEW PV deals. |

I work at a rogers and im not 100% on this, but a pvbd is supposed to be 20 points = 10$ off, same as new stuff. I believe the free pvbd is a glitch in the system, better make use of it now if that was your plan. Also I'm not sure if the deal is still on (it should be) but when i was last in on thursday night pvbd's are 20% off. Never Back Down was 12.99, make it like $12 with taxes..

I thought I remember reading something about this (may have been another site..possibly Rogers employee?) way back in December. 20 point redemption should equal 1 free PV BD. I haven't myself taken advantage of this yet, just reporting what I thought I've heard. If I find the link, I'll be sure to post it.

i've been under the impression that it's 30 points for a free PV blur ray http://rogersvideo.ca/myaccount/welcome.asp link there. you can see where some people can be mislead. it says 30 points there. |

i was merely stating that this isn't OBVIOUS. (which is why i posted in it's own thread) as i proved with the link to where it says 30 POINTS for PV blu ray. Why would I go into a RV and ask "Hey, are you SURE it's 30 pints for PV blu ray, even though online it says 30, and on the sign in the store it says 30?" There are no signs, and no RV CSR ever told me that I could get a Free PV blu. when you fill up gas at 89.9, do you ask the gas attendant if it's cheaper than 89.9? or do you assume it's 89.9 until someone tells you it is cheaper? (which was the case in Vancouver for a little bit and you saved 3.5 cents) So before you kick me out under my "little rock" use some logic before you shit on my thread. |

I've worked at rogers since before the SR program was introduced, never heard of 30 points = free pvbd. It's supposed to be 20 points = $10 off PVBD's, atleast thats what were told during training and the info on it says that. However, the the program that we use for points allows us to use 20 points for a FREE pvbd. My guess is it's a glitch (so they might fix it eventually) or an oversight with the info they gave us. I guess getting the free pv depends on the store you visit and the employee you get. Good luck guys
E: as for the 20 points = $10, you can also use 40 = $20, and so on up, it's capped but i can't recall what at. Example: on release day Rogers price for TDK BD was $32.99, i used 40 points and paid 12.99 + tax |
