Default Snagged some new speakers!!!

Yesterday i snagged a couple of Paradigm studio 60 towers in rosenut and a Paradigm studio cc690 and all i can say is that wow , what a big difference between these and my JBL northridge series. Not only that the center is as big as one of the JBL towers. This thing is huge! I bought these used at a really great price.

Ill post pics later today.

That center is enormous.

...and gorgeous. Looks like an awesome setup. Mind if I ask what your "really great price" was? Whatever it was, looks like it was worth it!

How do you like the Paradigm bipolar towers?

i bought the center for 800 and the towers for 1300 .

They're beautiful speakers and yeah the center is bigger then one my JBL northridge towers.

The bipolar speakers are good sounding i havent been able to get them positioned as good as i want them im still messing around with positions. Other then that they do sound good.

Awesome, I am very jealous.

(Off topic) I may have asked you this before, but what settings do you use for your DPS-10? Jazz or Movies for listening mode? Crossover in the receiver and on the dial on the back of the sub? Blinking volume control?

sorry you did ask me im bad for getting back to things

As for the sub i have it set at 80hz on the diali should try setting it to direct see how it sounds and the phase switch on the back is at 0 .

Normally i have it set on movies all the time i think these setting im getting a good sound out of it. Im not sure what the blinking light volume is at i used the YPAO with my yammy and set the volumes i tweak it hear and there but never sure what its at.

I sure would like to find another one though!

When did Paradigm start making bipolar speakers? Been awhile since I auditioned the Studio's or any Paradigm's since my last purchase.

Good thing no one claimed that they were. Look at his pics- he has some bi-polar Paradigm surrounds, ya dink.

Congrats! Those are exceptionally fine speakers. As for your bipole surrounds, you made another excellent choice. I found that using bipoles (and I suppose for dipoles too) the surrounds will come alive with sound that you didn't know was there or only heard if you were seated in the sweet spot. I wouldn't use anything else for surrounds.

They sound pretty damn good, i want to add an amp to power the 3 seperatly , that'll come soon.

Im replacing some JBL e80 northridge series towers and the ec25 northridge center with these paradigms im glad i jumped on these while i did.

Im not sure if want the Emo xpa-3, xpa-5 or Rotel RMB-1075 or RMB-1095.

Still deciding

Go with the Rotel, or look into Parasound.
