Slumdog to Bond thats a big difference in movies...dont know if he can pull it off

Isn't the Sun a terrible source? I'm indifferent on the matter since I missed Quantum of Solace but noticed that immediately.

This might not be too bad, he did do Sunshine and 28 Days Later. Bond getting chased by zombies I smell a winner

It can't be that bad.Danny Boyle can do a lot better than some of the other Bonds director.I won't mind seeing what he can bring to the mix.

If this is true then I'm all for it. I really like Danny Boyle and he has done some of my favorite films in recent history that show off his range as a director with Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, and Sunshine.

My big hope is that Paul Haggis can write a good screenplay again or that Mr. Boyle finds a capable one. Haggis did a good co-adaptation in Casino Royale, but he preached his goofy left wing environmental stuff in Quantum when he had the writing job all to himself just like he did with his left wing military stuff in In the Valley of Elah and it made what could have been fantastic films have a preachy undertone to them.

He's tackled different genres with ease. With a resume like this, it's hard to think he'll do poorly with an action movie like Bond.....even though it's just a rumor.

28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire, Sunshine, Trainspotting, Vacuuming Completely Nude In Paradise are all fantastic, especially the last one I listed. A very weird but highly entertaining dark comedy. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

A Lifeless Ordinary and The Beach, while not terrible movies, are his weakest films in my opinion.

Has anyone seen these other movies he's directed: Alien Love Triangle, Millions and Shallow Grave????
