Kuro vs Kuro Elite Help

1st what is the real difference btwn the kuro 5020 & kuro elite 111FD? I heard on CNET that the elite has better color. At BestBuy right now I can get the 5020 with a price match from (COSTCO) for $1,999 or I can get the 111 for $2,799. Am I going to notice a $800 difference in color?

With Pioneer stop making plasma is there going to be another price break? I think there current program is going on until March 3rd.

I also looked at the spec on both tv at BESTBUY.COM it says the "screen refresh rate" is 60HZ... I thought the Kuro was the best tv on the market. At least thats what CNET.com says. The Panosonic refresh rates on the 85u are 480 HZ's... Am I missing something here??? Why do the Panny have that much better of a screen refesh rate?

Is the Kuro the best bang for the buck?
