I may have already made mention of it but to me Lee Remick was an underrated actress , not to mention incredibly beautiful , intelligent and delightful.
Her filmography is only sparsely covered on DVD as it is but I think it would be nice if the relevant film studios issued a retrospective. Films like Days of Wine And Roses, No Way To Treat A Lady, The Detective and A Delicate Balance could form the cornerstone of a box set or perhaps individual releases at some point in the future. They could add some bonus material from Jack Lemmon, perhaps an advertisement for The Detective featuring Frank Sinatra and so on and so forth. |
