HD Movies Available To Buy on iTunes - Blu-ray Forum

Well as you can see from the image, only very few titles are actually available to purchase in HD, but it's a start. Hopefully they will soon include all of the HD rentals for purchase.

Is it really HD? I doubt it's as HD as Blu-ray.

I think they're only in 720p, but good enough for movies that they offer in HD that isn't available on BD yet, or may never will be, like Space Jam.

I wasn't trying to insult that movie at all, I love that movie and wish it would come out on BD, but I don't know that will happen anytime soon. In the meantime, or in case it never does, it still looks great in 720p.

Yeah, that's steep. You could almost buy the Blu-ray for that price.

Yeah but if it's a title that you don't think will make it to BD, or will take a while, it's definitely better than DVD.
