70% off Blu Rays @ CC - Blu-ray Forum

I was just at CC this afternoon, their Blu Rays are 70% off. They didnt have much left to choose from, maybe 200 disks total, but they were only maybe 6 different movies. I picked up 16 blocks and we are marshall for 9 bucks and the aviator for 7.50....not too bad..also had saw 3, 50 first dates and night at the museum....I will be checking out another CC tonight to see what they have left, so it might be worth your while to go check them out.

My circuit city is already CLOSED. Thing of the past now already feel like never had one. Kinda sad thou i liked cc.

Yeah. Yesterday they were 60% off on all DVDs and Blu Rays. Unfortunately, my store had none left. In fact, they didn't have much of anything except empty shelves and dust.

Yep....the CC's near me are open for one more week. Im going to check out two more tonight to see if they have some different titles.

They had a decent amount of stuff left in the one i was just in. They had some TV's left, HTIB, some subs....and other small stuff

no sale is worth trying to avoid the 4 guys playing baseketball in the one I went to yesterday. Another was kicking a soccer ball inside the old speaker room. It was like lord of the flies in there, music was loud as shit.

of course my experience was better than the post I saw where one of the "managers" went ape shit after music got turned off and chased customers out and another started banging railing with a pipe or something.

Checked out my CC yesterday. No blus just dvds left and those were slim pickings. Lots of TVs still around 30-40% off.

I went to one Circuity City and they had nothing of interest to me, but I did get The Queen for 60% off at another locale. I'm going to stop at another one tomorrow.

Another one near me had a bunch of blu-ray copies of Good Night and Good Luck for 60% off but I don't really care for that movie. I did get La Vita e Bella on DVD for $5 though. First DVD I bought since Snakes on a Plane

I was there the other day they where playing PS3 Madden on a big LCD and on the other end of the store it smelled like pot near the theater section so I cant say Ill miss them.

The only real "hot deal" i got out of CC's closing was Lost S4 BD for $19.99 after 80% off. Everything else was gone. The guy in front of me in line grabbed the last HDTV, a Samsung 32" LCD for $233!!

Almost picked up the Omega Man for $7.50 today at one here in Houston, but I didn't feel like waiting in a line 40+ people deep, so I left.

It seems like they closed some of the smaller CC's already!!! I got a few blu's for 10 bucks(scooby doo,The sentinel,and Space Cowboys) each on friday when they had 60 percent off. I'm sure the would have been gone before the 70 percent sale even started! I fugure 10 smackers each is nice price for Blu's!!!
