Default My Humble setup

Well, figured I'd make a thread since I just updated my pics finally. Shots are in my gallery but I'll add one just to make a nice setpiece:

Certainly not something I'd compare to some of the awesome home theater setups here, but my family and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. My newest toy, the PA-120 sub, got a workout tonight watching Cloverfield. I'd never heard so much bass on this flick before!

Anyway, feel free to make recommendations or critique or whatever. Just don't be too harsh.

Thanks. It really needs to be since it's our living room, frequent dining area, play room and behind the couches is the entryway. That room gets more use than the rest of the house!

Hah, nice. You're TV is the same size as ours. It's a great size if you have a "smallish" living room. Not too small, but not oversized either, it just fits in nicely.

Big dreams, small wallet. I've got a 4-year old daughter and another one on the way in a few months. If I had a lot more money I probably would just have a nicer TV and speakers, but not much different.

My kid almost knocked over a speaker last week. After the initial "Oh Shit!" moment, I realized that at worst, my kid breaks a speaker and I go out and buy a new one the next day or a new set the next week. "Budget audiophile".

*Edit* Also, you had already rated it, ya noob! You act like this is the first you've seen it!

Other than the Xbox it looks great. Those are Polks, right? Much better than Klipsch, and so much better priced. I'll bet you get a splendidly warm and dynamic bass range out of that setup. Word.

LOL, I didn't take it seriously or personally. I think it was tongue-in-cheek though there are still folks that do that.

Also, yeah they're Polk Monitors 60's up front and the CS2 center, with 40's as surrounds.

Don't pretend like you "didn't mean it like that" now that you've gotten some attention, partner...

Again: wanna be a little more specific, or are you seriously having some kind of "swing-a-fist-in-the-dark-and-hope-it-hits-someone" fit? If you're gonna start projecting things onto me, pretending to read my mind, how 'bout letting me in on it.

I don't mince words, and I wasn't starting anything with the OP... if I were, it would be obvious, subtlety isn't my thing.

I Have polks...and love the way Klipsch sound......they're just to bright for me...

EDIT: My university has a Klipsch school of Engineering museum...it's quite the collection of speakers. Its pretty interesting. And yes...the RF-82s are in there...and I think they just got some F3s...who knows.

Since I can't figure out any of what you're talking about, I'm going to assume you're either suffering from some kind of testosterone poisoning, or that you're some kind of psycho looking for an excuse to go off. This isn't an argument, this is you flipping out over nothing.
