Sting: Live in Berlin

Anyone own this on BD? The review looks good. What's your opinion about his performance? How about the AQ and PQ?

I have this disc. I am very disappointed in the mix because so much of Sting's voice is piped to the rear channels, so it sounds very un-natural.

One of my worst buys...

get it ! The mix is strong to the rear but not in a bad way , AQ is outstanding,PQ quality is good also , the performance is great

I have 40 or so Bluray concerts and Sting Live in Berlin is one of the best ones I own,Very Good!!!

BTW ....The audio portion of this disc has the highest bit rate of any music Bluray I have seen , over 10 Mbps

The 5.1 24/96 PCM track of the Tom Petty Damn the Torpedoes hums along at 13.824 Mbps.

I own this. It is fantastic. The voice sounds kind of closer than it should perhaps but probably meant to be that way by the audio engineers who decided how to code it. The Audio has an amazing bitrate indeed. The video is very nice (almost as nice as The Police Certifiable).

That's because is PCM. So does Botti's first BD.

But for DTA-MA or TrueHD this is actually quite high.

Going back to actual Sting BD, I think that mix is fantastic, except that I needed to turn the volume down a bit on surrounds

I forgot to comment about this BD, my apologies. I found that the vocals are a little too hot in the surrounds. I lowered the surround levels by 5dB and it sounded much better. The AQ and PQ are definitely reference level.
