Both Pirates of the Caribbean.
Will probly end up getting Flags of our Fathers and Apocalypto.

What a great week for Blu Ray's.

btw i saw the option to rent first. Where are they available to rent besides NetFlix? my local blockbuster and hollywood video doesn't carry either Blu Ray or HDDVD. rofl the employees at both didn't know what i was talking about when i asked for Blu Rays lol.

I'm getting both POTC titles today and I am sure I'll eventually get the MI titles as well. The others I will rent first, I am interested in Apocalypto though. I think it got some bad press because of Mel Gibson going nuts before it was released but I have heard some good things from people who have seen it.

I would call around to some different Blockbuster stores. The one closest to me doen't carry Blu-Ray but others that are not to far away do. It is strange though because the Blockbuster closest to me that doesn't carry Blu-Ray is in what is consided a more afluent area of town than the one that does carry them.

I am getting tired of Netflix as all the good releases are long waits. I have decided to buy a couple of movies from my queue because I cannot stand to watch these titles in SD. I have not found a local blockbuster carrying Blu-Ray in San Jose Area. Does anyone else know of one?

Picked up PotC I and II today. In store pickup via BB online. Thanks for the tip guys. I would like to pick up Apocalypto, but I am going to buy elder Scrolls game instead so I am going to be a little low on what I call "fun money" in the Rounds' household!

btw how is the video and audio quality on the Pirates movies? I think i read somewhere that they are supposed to be the best looking HD movies to come out thus far.

Apocolypto looked amazing on Blu-ray. So clear it made the animatronics look campy to a certain degree. Amazing PQ.
