Does anyone know whether this is a newly re-mastered edition or just a re-packaging of the previous Blu-ray release?

If the latter, is there any information about the new packaging?

It's a re-issue of the original disc in DigiBook packaging. Kinowelt are re-releasing a number of titles this way.

Yes. Except those that are Blu-ray premiere in Germany: „The Doors“, „Gottes Werk und Teufels Beitrag AKA The Cider House Rules“, „Hass AKA La Haine“, „Nikita“ and „Once“!
