Hi. I have a ed A3-300, great sub. Had it for about 4 and a half years. But recently i've noticed there's been a sound coming from the cone, it's like a crackling/static sound. Happens whenever theres a little bass or if someones talking. When I push my finger inward on the cone it goes away, but when I let go it comes back.
Anyone know what it is? Is my sub fried? ![]() |

I've had that issue before, and it sounds like a similar sound to what you're describing. Hope its an easy fix for you, Good Luck my friend ![]() |

Thanks for the reply. I haven't the faintest clue about gluing the cone since i've never done it. Do I simply open the sub and get some super strength glue? Is it a hard process? I'm fairly comfortable with fixing things but I don't want to risk ruining my sub completely.

You'll need a flexible glue.. This should do it.
