I really like the American remake from the same director. Shame no Criterion for that.

When Warner stuff was afloat, I had a theory that it would be released as some kind of double feature, which I'm still not confident in ruling out.

Since the artist mentioned he was designing the artwork hopefully this is a May or June title.

Finally! Still my favorite Haneke. I have the French TFI release. The remake is good too but suffers from having famous actors.

Glad to see some love for 2007's version in here. I like both quite a bit. Definitely picking this up.

Agreed. I like both too, but if Criterion was going to do one or the other, I'm glad it's this one.

Sure, they could have. Could have also licensed some more Haneke films and released a box set. But this is what they did.

Both version of The Killers are owned by the same company (Universal) and that isn't the case with Funny Games (original - mk2, remake -WB)

Can’t wait for this. I would have loved if the remake was included but I prefer the original so it isn’t that big of a deal.

This movie definitely locks you in when you're watching it, but I have no desire to see it again. It's one of the most thoroughly unenjoyable films I've seen.
