Default Alternative PS3 Gamepads?

Hey guys. Can you recommend an alternative PS3 gamepad as I'm alergic to the plastic in official one (seriously). Please don't recommend the XBox Kinect lol. I've seen these things from EA the Sports Comfort Play Pack.

Has anyone used them? Also are 3rd party controllers Bluetooth as well or are some of them USB? Does it make a difference?

Hmmm you could also consider using one of those services that will repaint your controller. That might work provided you arent sensitive to the chemicals in the paint.

In all seriousness can you use the medical type latex gloves and then use a regular DS3? It may be a better option than a 3rd party pad, i've never been very comfortable with them.

Assuming the OP isn't also allergic to latex, one problem I foresee is that those could become uncomfortable over a long period because they do not breathe.

OP could also consider a thin fabric glove provided that protects them sufficiently from contact with the plastic.

Another thought along the lines of "painting" the controller is that you could Clear Coat the plastic. Once again, assuming you're not allergic to any chemicals in that either. You could even clear coat the buttons and sticks.

Thanks for the advice guys, I've tried latex gloves for other things but I don't get on well with the powder in some of them and the ones with out can be too abrasive.

I might try the EA grip as it might provide some relief but it seems when I use the gamepad my skin breaks down and begins to come out in tiny blisters. I might also try some kind of medical tape around the handles. The stupid thing is my left hand is fine it's just my right.

I really appreciate your suggestions.

There is one a friend of mine usses (and I shall be buying soon) that I very much so like. It is more shapped like a 360 controller though (which I find more comftorable over long gaming sessions). I'll gewt the name for you if you would like (i'm currently having a mind blank so well get back to you if you would like).

+1 bump for my interest. I find the 360 shape friendlier too.
