36th Chamber of the Shaolin audio problem?

First off, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but i wasn't sure where I should ask this. I recently got 36th Chamber of the Shaoling on blu-ray. As I was watching I started to hear a very noticeable audio problem. On the Mandarin audio track has this echo to it. Its quite annoying and is not present on the Cantonese nor the English tracks. I wanted to know if this is normal or should I return my blu-ray? Thanks.

It's a defect. I can't recall the term for it but the US release of the Miami Vice series had this same problem on some episodes and got recalled to get fixed and they sent out replacements. It is a defect though especially if it's not noticeable on any other audio options.

I watched this on Blu Ray a few weeks ago w/ the Mandarin soundtrack and didn't notice any issues.

I noticed the echo on this a while back when I watched it. I switched to Cantonese to finish it out as that sounded fine. I attributed it to being a cheap release.
