seriously, no one else likes this movie enough to want it on bluray. it's so much better than wyatt earp and that got released.

a LOT of people like this movie. wyatt earp is more of a character study, tombstone is more of a hollywood studio movie. most people tend the enjoy the latter. but Tstone will be released soon...

Doc Holiday mocking Ringo by spinning his shot glass on his finger instead of a gun is one of my top 5 favorite movie scenes of all time! I cannot wait for this to come out on blu ray!

This might possibly see a UK release this year. The rights recently reverted back to Buena Vista,(EIV held them), who have been busy little bees in submitting various materials to the BBFC for classification. Fingers crossed!

okay okay you're right, but you can't deny how much better val kilmer was than dennis quaid. although I do like kevin costner better than kurt russell in the role of wyatt earp.

My favorite Val Kilmer role! I adore this movie! Seriously, when it hits Blu I am having a party and inviting the same friends I did when the DVD hit! I'll use it to get a lot of people back into our group

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people that would be really happy if this made it to blu but it really doesn't get talked about a lot. There's always talk about the various trilogies and sagas and there's also a lot of moaning for titles like Braveheart and Gladiator.... but Tombstone rarely gets mentioned on the boards. I need to start *****ing more and more for this.

Hopefully we get this sooner than later.

Maybe we can formulate a petition to get it made? They couldn't ignore it if a few million people sign it. It might be awhile before we can get that many people though. Oh well, maybe I'll just go back to praying for it.
