How to play Blu-ray disc without remote? - Blu-ray Forum

So, I have the Sony bdp-bx1 and the remote is broken. Does anyone know how I can play it? There are no buttons on the player to get the movie going. I'm an idiot. Help!

Is there a button on the player itself? I'm not familiar with that player, but did you try that? Oh wait I just read that never mind. Om. Sounds difficult then. You may need a remote.

you can try programming a univrsal remote with dvd remote codes and see what will work.
