What happened to the Bad Boys Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I forgot if it was Bad Boys 1 or 2 but wasn't there suppose to be one planned.
I remember on this little blu-ray promo thing they showed all these upcoming blus (this was an old promo blu) and one of them was Bad Boys and it was showing an explosion (Michael Bay film ;D) it looked amazing. So what happened to it?

They have never been announced by Sony nor have they even been rumored about yet. The only thing is Sony used them in a promo. Now with a third movie being talked about, don't count on seeing them soon.

After the trailer it said "All these movies coming soon to blu-ray." or something like that.

According to IMDb, Bad Boys 3 is tentatively scheduled for a 2012 release. This could potentially mean that we're a really long way off from seeing this franchise on Blu-ray. That's too bad because these are guilty pleasures that could look really good in high-def. I guess we'll just have to see won't we?
