United Kingdom Is the UK Hills Have Eyes (remake) unrated?

I saw it listed on Amazon.co.uk and was wondering if it was the unrated or rated version. Anyone know?

I've got mine from Play.com
It doesn't say UNRATED on the front, but it does say" The Version to Die for" wich is the Unrated cut if i'm correct.
I read that in the UK they can't say UNRATED on the cover. That's why they come up with stuff like: The version to die for, Extreme edition, Unseen edition etc.

Yep, it's the complete, uncut version. And it's region free.

Is that the cover for the one you got? seems weird it the UK would have two different covers. One that has Unrated on it, and one that doest, even thought they are the same 'uncut' print.

Someone should probably PM him with the question, as his post in this thread is from eight months ago.

The cover for mine doesnt say unrated on it. they arent allowed call them unrated because the BBFC by law have to have a certificate on all movies.

But its definately the same version I have on DVD and it was the Extended Version. This is the cover my copy has. More than likely its a dummy cover, HMV sometimes use dummy cases for advertising.

Yeah, in the UK you can't call it Unrated. The movie has to be rated for it to be released so they aren't alowed to market it as unrated. It isn't like the US

Thought so, but also thought it might have been like Equilibrium where the cover was changed from Bale standing, to the close up cover as seen on the database.

This movie was passed without cuts in the UK. I have the UK Blu-ray (The Version To Die For), and it's the same as the UNRATED disc from the US.

And as already mentioned; you can't put UNRATED or RATED on a UK release since they don't rate their movies. They "classifies" them. And The Hills Have Eyes got an 18 classification, with no cuts made.

Wes Craven's original from '78 was cut on it's release, but got an uncut re-release in 2003.

This is weird. I was seeing a movie today and before it started, a preview for horror blu ray played. There was clips from the movie and even a cover for the USA version. Why can't I find any information on this release??
