Signature permissions? - Blu-ray Forum

Stupid question for any mod, why did I loose [img] and smiley permissions from my signature?

I believe they said when they had allowed image in the sigs it got a little out of hand so that just X'd it all

I wish we could have smileys in them though

on topic. i agree i would like to have smileys in my sig. even though i don't have a sig really.

We removed images and smilies in signatures a really long time ago. Since you can't control how large images are being used, it got completely out of hand and messed up the forums. Same thing with smilies, you could use 500 animated smilies which is kind of annoying

this is a good thing, I can't stand forums with a bunch of pics, etc. clogging up the thread

makes sense, why no quotes tho? i remember sig's being cut back so i know there's a character limit that would stop people from abusing that.

Can we please be allowed to put images in our sigs? Its fine if they are restricted a reasonable size but I know a lot of us in the PS3 section would like to display our playfire trophy cards. Can we please get images?

It might because of the content of your signature. Maybe there's a filter for preachy signatures, I'm not sure.

It would be nice if a filter was created that would allow us to post playfire or EU Playstation trophy cards. There must be a vbulletin mod out there somewhere to support that.
