Default Can we change the subject?

I've had the JVC RS20 for a few weeks now, and still I'm complete amazed by the picture. I'm attaching a recent review:

http://www.projectorcentral.com/jvc_...s20_review.htm

Take a look, not to sell you on JVC, but on front projectors. IMO, the most interesting comment:

"What you'll end up with is a picture that is as close to a high definition CRT as we've yet seen from a digital projector anywhere in this price range".

I know $6K - $7K is still pricey for most of us, but just knowing this quality is slowly entering everyone’s wheelhouse, this is pretty cool stuff IMO. I am now a complete front projector addict, and I'm going to convert you all to the dark side (quote from Mr. Brain himself).

I think that most people who are in the front projection forum either already have a front projection setup or are sold on the idea and want a front projection setup.

I would try posting projector reviews in some of the other forums...might inspire others to enter the world of front projection!

Lots of people crave a big screen but still want a TV that resembles a TV.

I know my step dad was like that when he recently upgraded his Home Theater. We had many discussions about various displays and I tried to convince him to go with a projector but he wanted to keep with a direct view and eventually snagged a SXRD RP. At least it's a projector of some kind and with a 60" screen it's big too. He's really happy with it.

Front Pj's just aren't for everyone ..... but I can't get enough.

If I had the basement and the room for it, I would want to have a 50" to 60" inch LCD TV but still have the projector, with a screen that come's out in front of the TV

I know.. I can't believe it is not more popular...

I do know as soon as I have my first movie night with friends.. they WILL want one.

I'm already scheming on how I could build a bigger room to get a bigger screen!

If I had a dedicated HT room.... I'd love a FP set up. But since my HT is in my living room.... and that living room is very shallow... I'll be sticking to RP for as long as I can buy them or until flat screens go down enough to match the price to quality ratio of RP.
