Default Dogma (Film) Question

I'm not sure if I understand a certain part of Kevin Smith's film Dogma: The part when Matt Damon's and Ben Affleck's characters are arguing in a parking garage (I think) and Matt Damon's character says something like "Are you all right; your eyes are kind of-"
Ben's character says "My eyes are open."

What is Matt Damon's character talking about? Is it just crazy eyes?

That's what I always thought it was.

I'm thinking he's got a "glint of hunger for power" in his eye. Just like "The Morning Star" (aka Lucifer).

LMAO!!!

Loki is speaking metaphorically. He doesn't LITERALLY see something in Bartleby's eyes. He is simply picking up on a major attitude change through the "windows into the soul."

It would be funny though if there was an outtake where Ben Affleck retorted with some sort of comment like, "I know! It must be a damn eyelash or something. It's been bugging me for hours. I'm surprised that you saw it in there. Good eyes Loki!" and then they proceeded to high-five over the whole scenario...

No... not really.

Some imagination you got there. You should be a screenwriter.

I'd rather use my imagination to turn the screenwriter's work into a screen performance. I'm actually trying to become an actor...

Seriously!

thats how i always took it, he had a crazy look in his eyes because he had finally snapped being trapped on earth for so long

thats actually one of if not my favorite part of the movie, which is kinda strange since its a comedy and thats a dramatic scene
