Question Best price for all bond blus (singles)????

im looking to get all the bond blu rays that have been released for the cheapest price possible...i dont want to get the 3 packs, i want to purchase each individually...just wondering where my best bet would be?

i know future shop has each steelbook for 19.99 each (but that means i would have to keep buying from fs for all them to keep them all the same as steelbooks) works out to $200 with tax for 9

i know amazon.com has a deal where if you buy quantum of solace and all 9 bonds you get $60 off which would be around $158 (not including S&H and including quantum of solace)

any other places/deals i should be aware of? or should i just hold off and wait for a price drop?

i keep regretting not getting these around black friday or boxing day

im wondering the same thing. Usually Fry's has pretty good sales on them (they were 16.99 at one point). Hopefully that happens again

same here... i'd wait till the release date of quantam cuz i'm sure the regular ones will be on sale. they always are. when transporter 3 came out, 1 and 2 were 14.99 each on blu-ray! i'm in no rush to buy them and will only pick em up if i get them for at a great bargain price. otherwise.. i can wait.

yeah i was waiting for the price to drop down too, but ended up getting the two box sets for $30/each from amazon.ca, I ended up putting them in a seperate blu-ray case and printing off the covers.

so far the cheapest i've seen the bond movies that are out now is $20 each including taxes at the flea-market

I think I'll be picking up the Steelbook of Goldfinger at Futureshop especially if it is only $19.99, great price for a Steel I'm a little sad that QoS is going to be like 32.99, I might wait for a sale on it, way too much

Your best best will be to scour the boards here and buy them from other users. The older Bond's usually go for $10 a piece.

Yep. I've been trying to unload my extra mint copies of Die Another Day, and For Your Eyes Only since I have the box sets.

how much for for your eyes only? is it the steelbook?

the cheapest deal for buying them new would probably be columbia house when they have the free shipping deal....but you would not get the steelbook versions from them...

thanks for the replies guys

im not too keen on getting the steelbooks (not a deal breaker for me)

but it looks like the amazon deal isnt too bad...with the $60 off it works out to about $155 for 10 movies so $15.50 each

does anyone know what amazon would charge me for shipping to canada?

or should i wait? $15 each is looking mighty tempting...

Shipping is about $8 plus $2 every disc and now, they also charge import fees which is like 15 - 20% of the cost of your order. Add in the exchange rate and your deal isn't very good anymore.

I used to order everything off Amazon.com but no deal is worth it anymore.

thanks for the detailed response, so by calculations...

Shipping:
$8 + $2(10) + $155(0.2) = $59 USD X 1.24 = $73 CAD

Actual Order:
155 X 1.24 = $192.20

TOTAL: $265.20 (which works out to about $26.52 each= BAD DEAL)

anyways, thanks for the info...i can rest easy now knowing i dont have a diffucult decision

No Problem man. The best deal for the Bond here in Canada for all of them (sans Casino / QoS) is Futureshop having Vol. 1 - 3 on for 49.99 each set. Not too bad if you want them all

ya, i want them all individually though, so i may have to wait it out

i saw some of them were on sale for 17.99 at "DVDs Next Gen Gaming" plus 10% until Mar.24 but I'm worried that if I buy a couple now, there will be some huge deal where I need to buy all of them for the deal to be worthwhile (like the amazon one)

oh well, i can wait

btw...whats the best price for casino royale in canada? (i dont care which version)

Keep checking SiGelectronics as well. They've got some really good deals at times! Check the site regularly and I'm sure you'll come across something!

The exchange rate you would get on your visa is around 1.28 now rather than 1.24 making it even worse. The import fee deposit + the exchange rate make it pretty much always more expensive from amazon.com for everything now unfortunately. The only thing to do is look around in canada for deals. They are harder to find here for sure. I just started renting more now with the new Blu-ray cost reality for Canadians.

It's 23.99 at chcanada.com I believe. That is where I got mine.

EDIT: Oh wait Casino Royale... I guess it's 24.99 at chcanada.com. I thought you meant QoS.
