Saw this on CNET's Crave.

Looks like we'll finally get a sync device to Power ON/OFF our PS3's using any Harmony remote!

Yes, I saw that on engadgethd a few days ago. Hopefully it will be priced fairly. I really have no idea why Sony did not include IR in the PS3. Huge oversight.

I couldn't agree more. But I'm glad that now we'll finally have something, so I can dump my Nyco. Might even spring for an upgraded Harmony Remote as well!

I paid 40 for my IR4PS3 and it works flawlessly. I'm willing to bet these Harmonies will be more than 40 dollars over their predecessors.

Still, it's about time Logitech addressed the PS3 problem.

Not really. That way they can sell more of their Bluetooth remotes?

The IR4PS3 has been doing this for almost a year now.

Yeah it's just a shame the general public doesn't know more about it. These devices should be in every Best Buy in America, and of course on amazon.com.

I was aware of that as well. It's just that I think a Logitech unit for this would be of interest to a lot of people. Hence the post.

Agreed. I just wish they'd had this option before I went and bought a separate device.
