Default Shadow's Home Theatre...

Started back in July 08 planning and just drawing out stuff on paper. Looking around on the forums and other very helpful sources on the net to get some ideas. I didn't even know how to use an electrical saw and measuring tape but I managed. I originally wanted this to be a gameroom, I was ready to build my own arcade, buy pool table, etc.. but being the movie lover that I am, I changed my mind very quickly. Especially when watching Blu-rays on a 60" Sony SXRD with to much reflection, light, etc.. hitting the screen , I told myself "I need more. I Need Better". So after 8 months of planning, building and spending, and some headaches and approvals from wifey, it all paid off.

Sorry about the bad quality of photos. .

110" Carada Screen Brilliant White with Frames I built using 2x4s covered with Fr701. Speakers and subwoofer are hidden.

A Little more light on this picture. A vent blows air the other way. Ceiling is White. Debating if I should paint it Black.

Closet. Still needs a little work.

Seat Reserved.

Blackout Drapes from Eclipse block the Light from hallway and downstairs. Does a great job!

2 Large windows that were modified to Block Light. A real pain to build but it was worth it.

Boiler Room to the right. Limited me about 5 more feet in seating distance. Notice the Attice door above to the right. Easy access to run all your cables and install the lighting.

Recliners. No Cup Holders. The Middle is a Sofa and believe it or not, the end recliners were 1 love seat! I cut them in half and seperated them into each end of the long sofa.

A little more light.

epson 6500

About 7' away from screen. It's quite an experience when your this close.

Twilight.
