Canada The Dark Knight and Batman Begins Futureshop Exclusive - Re-release

Looks like The Dark Knight and Batman Begins are being individually re-released by Futureshop on 10-July-2012.

Release Date: 10, July 2012
Price: $16.99 (Release day only)

The key question is will these have JP / KOREA artwork or same as the previous release?

The most important question why?

I'm hoping they are the same as the Japanese steels.. although this would annoy people who already bought them

I certainly hope these won't be just copies of Japan Steelbooks, it would rob them from their value & uniqueness. For those who missed them it would be a nice thing, but for me who paid alot for them in Ebay it's not so nice.

And why? They use advantage of The Dark Knight Rises hitting theaters on July so they are milking the customers. I think they sould had wait until they can release Dark Knight Rises as a Steelbook too.

My guess is it will be the same exact steelbooks that was released in the U.S. with no inside artwork.

Looks like i'm now holding off on those two steelbooks till we get confirmation of artwork. Hopefully is just like the jap releases and with inside artwork or equally as cool.

The only issue i have is that even with cost + shipping, it works out a tad expensice with the shipping part. Just to ask, but is this confirmed steelbook or potentially VIVA?

That's what I'm thinking. But seeing as how TDK is still available on Amazon.ca I don't see the point. If it hasn't sold out there and they ship worldwide, how is FS going to move any copies?

Warner doesn't use Viva cases, only Disney.

Guess thats settled then, it's a steelbook lol. Well, hopefully artwork is revealed soon because i need to decided whether i want these or the best buy versions. Artwork would be nice to see as well considering the extortionate shipping costs from Canada to UK even at cost so i can make my mind up.

as other people have said. TDK steelbook is not sold out in canada yet so why are they re-releasing the same thing again. i really hope its different artwork but i have a feeling they will be the same as bestbuy's, no inside artwork with a $10-$20 price tag

well, your hope might come true. sooner or later, we'll start to see ALL the rare ones being re-release again. Oh well...too many newbies asking for re-release these days.

I think slipcover are becoming more rare than steelbook now

Well, now I have to wait. I was just about to pull the trigger on some of the Japan Korea ones, but now Im not sure. Part of me wants to wait, but another part thinks they may be gone by the time we find out what the artwork is.

I'm gonna need my candian buds to let me know how much it will cost them to ship both of these to me in the UK? I'm definitely interested at buying them @ the $16.99 canadian dollar price but just need to work out shipping to UK.

Is that $3 tax per item?

$18 for 2 items is a bit high but oh well, well protected shipping etc i'm not too fussed i guess.

Ok, thanks a lot. Looks like either way, it wil be >£30 for either version almost but if i get the best buy versions i'm also likely getting quite a few more best buy steelbooks which kind of reduces the cost of shipping over more items.
