A little bit expensive, but such is the way with Japanese Blu-ray. $10 more for the version with FFXIII demo. I see it has both Japanese and English audio, but I have not found confirmation regarding English subtitles. Would prefer Japanese audio myself.

Default FFVII advent children on Blu-ray 4/16 in japan

Just downloade the trailer for a "complete" version of the movie on the japanese playstation store. it must be extended because the footage shown is not in the DVD. and at the end it says Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete. available april 16th on bluray in japan

Since it's blu-ray and Japan is the same region, it takes about two days with priority shipping

There are still movies that are available in Japan that have not been released on Blu in the us as of yet. Almost Famous is going on two years now, while others like Peter Pan is about one year. As to whether this movie even gets a US blu release, your guess is as good as mine.

How do you order it from Japan? Amazon? I got Amazon.ca but they still don't list the movie on their site.

They are more expensive than most blu's because shipping costs out of japan are ridiculous.

You won't see it here until FF13 is ready to come out.

why it cost almost 20 more dollar to had a trial of FF XIII? I don't remember there was a demo that you charge you extra? but this far too much.

I've waited for Advent Children for this long, waiting a little while longer on Blu for the price to come isn't going to hurt that much.

Because they know people in Japan will pay it

You wouldn't believe how many copies Tobal no.1 moved for the FF7 demo. People dropped 5800 yen and turned around the game on the spot "used" and took the demo home

Too bad the far superior Tobal 2 never made it here *hugs import*

That is true, and what BS! I refuse to buy it on that ground alone. I don't want to listen to the horrible English dubs.

I remember hearing that both English dub and sub are in the Japanese release. I'll search for the link

I loved the visuals in the movie, but I just couldn't get in to the story. English dub stinks. I always try to watch a movie in its original language with english subtitles. I'm even play the Witcher Enhanced with the Polish voice acting.
