When the DVD came out it cost about £8.99 to the market, the Blu-ray isn't much more, since I gave my The Incredibles double disc DVD edition to my nephew I'll have to order this later.

Dragon Ball Z Kai Part Five, Akira Steelbook Manga's UK and now The Incredibles.

Is this going to be as packed with special features as the US version? (The US version comes with 2 Blu-rays).

I don't know. What I do know is that the Dutch release only has 1 blu-ray.

I got a question about this release.

Is it going to be exactly like the US release or will they shrink something to make it smaller?

Play.com has listed the following extras:
Director's Commentary
Boundin' Pixar Short Film
Jack Jack Attack Pixar Short Film
I don't know however how reliable this information is. Here's the artwork:

The artwork doesn't say anything about how many discs the release has, so I guess it's only one disc.

And it looks like the Spanish release also has one disc.

Damn it.

They should blame themselves if people import than buy from the own country.

I'll buy the US BD later then, tend to like more the US BD's than UK's if they're region B compatible, that is.

The US blu-ray is region free. The included DVD however is region 1.

Yeah, I'm aware of the DVD R1, not an issue.

I just plan to watch the Blu-rays.

What the hell is Disney UK thinking?? Removing the second disc of extras and instead put in a worse cover art! Ridicules!

Is that branch managed by monkeys?? Wouldn't surprise me.

Until I see conformation of 1 disc only in the UK release, I'm not going to get all excited over it.

I don't remember in what forum I read it but it said that Disney HQ made the decision that only the US release will have the 2nd disc and the rest of the world gets the 1 disc release. So far it seems to be true.

TG I have the US one coming. Bit ridiculous that Disney is so American-centric.

Well they are an American company and I always got the impression that The Incredibles (and Cars) did not do as well internationally as they did in the US so it might explain why there is a 1 disc only international release (and probably why we never got Cars Toons on blu over here as well)

Disney's American so more effort to their own than outsiders.

American Blu-ray sets normally seem to be better than the UK's ones.

On the other hand, The Incredibles [US Import] is compatible with Region B, so nothing to worry really, unless you're also planning to watch the DVD (you'll need a multi region DVD Player then).

Or any PC or laptop with the freeware media player VLC installed, it ignores DVD region locks.
