Ps3 Help .

It started to freeze during playback of dvd bds and then just frozed? right now no video output to the tv shows green light on and it ejects the disks but no video. If I go in to the reset menu by holding power button after two beeps the reset menu shows.When I will try to reset ps3 screen will turn offand nothing happens. Anybody help

I'm having trouble getting clarity out of your engrish...


No video as in no video period, or no video as in the Blu-ray doesn't play?

If you go in to the reset menu? What reset menu?

When you try to reset the PS3 the screen will turn off.. I imagine because you are resetting. Does the PS3 not display anything after a few seconds? It should show you the PS3 bootup animations


Help me, help you, by proof-reading your post before posting. The clearer you can explain what is happening the easier it is for me to understand the problem.

Thats what I was going to say, but I always get yelled at for doing so. Hence I just sent him on a reading excursion in hopes that'll resolve his issue without me having to decipher another message.

I try to tread carefully as well since my knee-jerk reaction is to slap ID ten T error and pebkac all over the place, but then I recognize that I need to exercise patience first by at least attempting to assist by asking clarifying questions.

Sometimes I wish my ps3 would just die... It's so freaking loud, and random about not wanting to play things. Last night I go to watch some good old Weeds, put it in, it trys to play it and it locks up with nothing displaying on the tv.

My advice would be to call Sony, see if it is warranty still, if not it's like $100 to fix it.

Its $140 to have Sony handle your issue if you need to send it in.

I would pay to have it replaced by Sony. Its better than spending $400.

My ps3 started to freeze during playback of dvds and blu-rays then one day it just froze. At this time I have no video, but the green light is on and I can eject discs all day long but I still have no video.

If when you try to reset or close a application and your ps3 turns off that would mean the ps3 got hung on something, check the dvd / blu-rays for scratches, contact Sony Support.
