Was looking forward to this as I love a good ghost story flick, but it was quite the disappointment. Predictable, plodding and nothing genre fans haven't seen before. I've heard good things about Florence Pugh in the critically-acclaimed Lady Macbeth, but she doesn't make much of an impression here.
I love hearing Freeez's 1983 club hit I.O.U. as much as the next person, but if there were any other reason to have this film take place in 1986 I completely missed it... |
