Does anyone else find it odd that Universal is primarily supporting HD, but their music department is supporting Blu-ray for future music applications?

Universal Music Group is still controlled by Vivendi. While they own only 20% of NBC Universal.

The logos continue to be used because they are familiar and powerful trademarks.

Like Mitsubishi in Japan. Or Bombardier in Canada.
