Default Comic book display

I have everything else about my remodeling project for my HT planed (in my head).

Can't figure how I want to display my comic book collection.

Any suggestions?

I have a few ideas but first some questions.
Is it traditional comic books or paperbacks/hardbacks?
Do you have any prized comics you want to display?
How many are in your collection?

Dollar Tree is your friend. Traditional comic book sized frames for $1 each. They are decent quality too.

There all traditional style comic books. I have about 50 X-Men, 10 Ghost Rider, 20 Iron Man, Marvel Civil War, all the Marvel Zombie comics, about 5 Blade comics, a boatload of Batman's, and all the Army Of Darkness comics.

Regular closed frames with 1 frame per book isn't going to work as I'm running out of wall space.

You could go with traditional comic book store style rotating or wall mounted racks. That works with smaller collections or with only showing off some of your collection.
Otherwise box files, magazine files or in drawers, etc.
Being so flimsy and prone to damage they aren't that well suited to be shown off that much, if you had some prized comics I was going to suggest either framing them or put them in mylar with a thin piece of card and using a stand like a plate stand to display them.

Personally, I would put most in a long box and my favorite covers I would display on the wall. The husband of a classmate of mine had his favorites in some sort of giant wall display behind the headboard of their bed. If I remember right, each comic was in an individual sleeve but they were all part of a giant piece. Only thing similar was something I saw at a comic shop that has since gone out of business.

Edit: I've also seen people take their CGC graded books and display them on the wall.

I dont recommend displaying any Valuable comics on the wall for any long period of time. If you have very valuable books you do Not want them subject to direct light, heat or cold for too long as even framed the long tern effect will be fading or color and value.

After looking into this further it seems by best option right now is to go with single frames. Ill have to limit it to 1 per franchise and maybe rotate books every so often. Since I'm low on wall space I will just stand them upright on the roof of my shelves like I do for my steelbook movies and models. Thanks for the suggestions.
