Default Last night I had a nightmare

It was about Freddy Kreuger. He was doing what he does in the movies - killing us off one by one in really bizarre ways. He'd appear and reappear at random, and he'd just terrorize us. Kind of caught me by surprise because I'm 23 years-old. Not saying I don't have nightmares, but I haven't dreamed of a film character like that since I was a kid.

Have you had any recent dreams of a movie person?

I actually have a recurring dream where i'm being chased by Jaws (shark, not Bond). It's a bit odd in that i'm in a pool, but the end result is that while I flail away, I don't actually progress... kind of like swimming in one of those inside current pools. I wake as the shark bites down...

Only nightmare I can recall having...

I have nightmares almost every night. Last night I was fighting zombies, my gun kept jamming. I'd have to kill a zombie, than take their gun and continue fighting.

Night before was missiles hitting our base, this one was scary. Stems from all the issues with Korea in the news although it doesnt consciously bother me. Just remember thinking as long as I see it hit, it's not a nuke lol... and running to the middle of the building.

Another recent one I was floating down a river having to dodge crocodiles, the river would fork and I wouldnt know what way to go. Eventually something started chasing me and trying to eat me(something along the lines from the monsters in Iceage Meltdown), then I hit land and the monster caught me and I woke up as it's jaws were closing on me.

Yeah, I have negative dreams almost every night. Not sure what it is.. they're not always "nightmares" but something is always bad.

Greetings from Delta Junction. I used to live in North Pole.

I have never had what could be classified as a "positive" or a "good" dream.

People tell me all the time that they dream of being with women, or they strike it rich or they are running through fields of grass. Not me...not once...not ever.

Normally I don't even remember dreaming, but they are usually whacky.

Also...just as an aside...I learned in my research that Dreaming of:

Babies mean Death

Money means betrayal

Water means money

Death means good fortune

I have been told not to eat before bed...supposedly that evens out the dreams and makes them less aggressive.

I draw the line at dreaming of Barbara Streisand though...if that ever happens, I'll just jump.

I had a fairly frightening dream about being trapped in a room that was covered in alien stuff like in Aliens and the walls started moving and I could make out the form of one of the aliens. I woke up terrified. It was so realistic.

I also have crazy dreams that I'm on the Lost island and they're in the future and there's weird spaceships. That one's actually pretty cool because I get to talk to Ben and he tells me all kinds of cool stuff about the island.

I have a nightmare about Freddy Krueger on average of about once every month. I have since I was young (I'm 28 years old now). I don't get it b/c I don't have dreams like that about anything else.

I'm curious if my Freddy nightmares will change at all after the new movie comes out next year or if it will still be the Robert englund version....

I doubt the new Freddy would ever be able to induce nightmares.. same with the new Jason.

Once I had a dream that I stole some candy from someone's car and when I tried to get out of the car I saw Jason standing outside. I think it was because I was guilty I took the candy!

This Freddy dream was truly bizarre. It started out with some sort of airplane crashing in the air (all those World Trade Center videos I've been watching) and the people falling down. Then Freddy's face starting appearing everywhere (like how he came out of the kid's stomach in Part II and the TV in III).. and people were dropping like flies. I started to die too (I was turning into a plant) but I think he had mercy on me... a very non-Kreuger thing to do.

Ok now you see that's a weapon selection problem. I know modern movies will tell you the M-16 is zombie repelent, but as you can see from your dreams it's not the proper weapon. What you want to get yourself is an AK-47, you can drop it in mud, throw it in a river, run over it with a truck and it's not gonna jam, getting killed by zombies for using the wrong rifle is just poor prepartion. remember just like Sam Jackson said in Jackie Brown

"AK-47 for when you absolutely positively gots ta kill every mother ****er in the room, except no substitutes" and yes that does apply to zombies from rooftops as well.

If they increase in frequency Freddy is breaking into the real world.
