IPhone 2G Issues help

Hello I had a jailbroken 2.1 2G Iphone ,,, my 10 year old daughter thought she was doing me a favor by downloading the 2.2 software from ITunes now my IPhone is in operable Itunes says my sim card doesnt work and I cant get anything out of my phone nothing , no software version or anything ... so how can i get my phone working again... TY

jailbreak 2.2. I have 2.2 2G unlocked and jailbroken for tmobile.. I hope you backed up before you jailbroke.. All you have to do is download firmware 2.2 for 2G of quickpwn.com and use quickpwn for windows..

Sure...blame it on the kids! Hopefully you're backed up and can restore all your data. I did the jailbreak thing when the iPhone first came out, but I got tired of trying "to stay one step ahead" of the Apple updates so I gave up on it.

all you have to be careful about is firmware 2.2.1 for 3G. That will upgrade your baseband for good and wont be able to unlock it for another carrier.
