ABC Family's Twisted

I'm have not seen much youth-oriented tv, but I have been enjoying a good little drama called Twisted on ABC Family network at 9pm eastern time on Tuesdays! Has anyone else caught this little gem, & if so, what do you think about it.



Twisted
The new ABC Family original mystery series Twisted centers on a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past, who recently reconnected with his two female best friends from childhood. He becomes the prime suspect when a fellow student is surprisingly found dead in her home. The series is executive produced by Gavin Polone, David Babcock and Adam Milch, who also wrote the pilot. The drama stars Avan Jogia, Maddie Hasson, Kylie Bunbury, Kimberly Quinn, Sam Robards, Ashton Moio and Denise Richards. The series is produced by Prodco, Inc.

Twisted is a one-hour mystery full of twists and turns that follows Danny Desai, a charismatic 16-year-old with a troubled past who returns to his hometown after spending five years in juvenile detention. Immediately branded an outcast, Danny attempts to reconnect with his two childhood best friends, Jo and Lacey. But when a fellow student is found dead in her home, Danny instantly becomes the prime suspect and town spirals into a frenzy of suspicion and mystery. Jo and Lacey must decide if their childhood friend is unforgivable, or if he's really a victim being persecuted for his own twisted secrets.

This series stars Avan Jogia as Danny, Maddie Hasson as Jo, Kylie Bunbury as Lacey, Denise Richards as Karen, Kimberly Quinn as Tess, Sam Robards as Kyle, and Ashton Moio as Rico.

This is the latest episode & I'm still enjoying this series! Looks like I'm the only one here that is!!

Twisted is averaging 1.25 million viewers and the productions costs keep going up. The production costs for this show are now high for the ratings (if only by a small amount).

All of the above is why there is an extremely high likelihood (over 75% but discernibly less than 100%) of this show being cancelled.

Yes, I know.

But I added up the ratings of each episode of Twisted (including the sneak preview of the 1st episode last March and the recap episode). Add the sneak preview of the 1st episode (which was considered new when it aired last March and again last June) and the recap episode and that is 20 episodes.

Each airing of the 1st episode is counted as a separate episode even though it is the same episode (probably to increase the average number of viewers). I added up the ratings of each episode and divided by 20 and got an average of roughly 1,250,000 viewers for this show.

I used a calculator to add up the ratings numbers that I got from Wikipedia (which are from TV By The Numbers).
