B&K Reference 70 Pre Amp - Blu-ray Forum

Was considering upgrading my Reference 50 for this model . Has anyone had any experience on this model to share ?

I think I will eventually buy the new Outlaw Audio 997 pre amp surround processor. It has amazing specifications and the first to bring a Trinnov Optimizer to the home market. It is only going to sell for about $1399; for a non powered pro pre amp processor it is a steal as all the other comprable brands, B & K, Anthem, Sunfire, etc. are all three to over 5 times that cost!

Another option is B & K I believe does provide an internal firmware or possibly firmware plus hardware option to modify your B & K 50 to the same as the new B & K.

I have played around with that BK unit, it is awesome and has even more amazing reviews. It has plenty of inputs, great processing for Audio and Video, and it is on the top of my list of processors to get if I could afford it. The Outlaw is nice...period. A good unit especially for the price, but it still wont compare to the BK. Sure you can save some money and be happy with it, but if you are looking for the best performance you can get, BK is a sure fire way to go!!
