Great movie. Coincidentally, it was Ford's last big hit before being forced to replay Indy to revive his career.

Which means that it's now with the hands of WB. Perhaps when Flight comes out? I believe WLB was Zemeckis' last live-action film before it.

Yes, this is one of the titles WB is distributing for Paramount come 1/1. However, we don't know the full details of the distribution agreement. So hopefully, WB will be able to release some of Paramount's DVD only releases to blu-ray.

I would hope now that Warner controls this release we will get it soon. I love this movie. It has a lot of replay value for me for some strange reason. Hope to get it in 2014!

I recently downloaded a 1080p version in Vudu with the DVD to HDX. Pretty pleased with it for $2.50.

It's really quite amazing how complicated the movies business is.

Originally produced (with 20th Century Fox) and distributed by DreamWorks SKG.

DreamWorks SKG library sold to Paramount.

Paramount sells their library (and the acquired DreamWorks) to Warner Bros.

It's sad that DreamWorks has pretty much failed as a movie studio. I had so much hope for it.

But yes, WLB on Blu-ray would be fantastic.

I always enjoyed Zemeckis' Hitchcock style take on the haunted house film. It's an odd one not to have come out on Blu yet. A successful big studio film with two huge stars in a still very popular genre.

It is odd. There are (3) Robert Zemeckis films that I want on USA blu:
